  1. How do you charge for your services?

    We charge by the hour and for material.  Often called “time and materials”.  We bill for any time spent working on your project which could include visiting the job site, meeting with client and/or contractors, creating finish schedules, drawing floorplans, sourcing products and materials, ordering samples, visiting showrooms, ordering product, installing, styling, etc.

    We markup material and product purchased for the project. We use trade-only wholesale vendors to source product and markup a varying % that is under retail price (MSRP). We have relationships with many home furnishing suppliers offering a variety of styles and price points.

  2. Do you charge for travel?

    We do not charge for travel time within Manchester and Dorset, VT. We do charge for travel time outside Manchester and Dorset. We charge half the designer hourly rate, plus mileage. We use the current government “going rate”.

  3. I was thinking to purchase from online retailers like Wayfair. Would you still work with me?

    Yes! We work with clients that want a DIY approach. We can make suggestions for you from online sources that fit your budget and scale of project.

  4. I live outside Vermont. Can we still work together?

    Absolutely! With today’s technology, we are able to work with clients who aren’t local to Manchester, VT. We use an online portal to share ideas, schedule meetings by phone or on Zoom/FaceTime, and we’re even able to mail samples. No distance is too far!
