Day 153: Chalk it up to…

Who doesn’t love a chalkboard? A longtime classroom staple, now we see them popping up in restaurants, street ads, farmers’ markets…But in your home? Chalkboards are one of the greatest ways to freshen up any wall or room, while also personalizing it. Kitchen notes can easily be created as well as temporary office memos and calendars. Or simply a fun play area for the kids to let their creative sides run free! What do you think of these projects where we have added chalkboards in our design?

We added a chalkboard in one client’s foyer to add an inviting and fun atmosphere as soon as they enter!

And for this project, we created a chalkboard in their basement. It can display happy announcements, motivating thoughts, or the dinner and drink menu.
